Die vorliegende Studie befasst sich mit der Entwicklung eines Instruments zur Einschätzung sozialer Fähigkeiten. Der Instrumentenentwicklung liegt das Modell der gelingenden Interaktion zugrunde. Das Modell unterscheidet 4 Grundfähigkeiten: Kommunikation, Empathie, Visionsfähigkeit und Koordinationsfähigkeit. Als Datengrundlage dient eine umfangreiche Internetstudie an der sich mehrere Tausend Personen beteiligt haben. Es stellte sich heraus, dass sich die Gesamtskala sinnvoll in die vier angeführten Grundfähigkeiten unterteilen lässt. Außerdem konnte eine Kurzskala entwickelt werden, die hinreichend gute Reliabilitätswerte aufweist.
This introductory article to the special issue of Psychology Science devoted to the subject of Considering Response Distortion in Personality Measurement for Industrial, Work and Organizational Psychology Research and Practice” presents an overview of the issues of response distortion in personality measurement. It also provides a summary of the other articles published as part of this special issue addressing social desirability, impression management, self-presentation, response distortion, and faking in personality measurement in industrial, work, and organizational settings.
