N2  - Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Phänomen der globalen Führungskraft als handelndes Individuum im globalisierten Wirtschaftskontext Anfang des 21. Jahrhunderts, wo neben monetären Größen vor allem situative und personelle Führungsvariablen über den Erfolg von Unternehmen entscheiden. Eine zunehmende Diskrepanz zwischen der Einheit des Ortes und der Zeit erfordert kulturelles und kommunikatives Handeln globaler Führungskräfte. Die Diskrepanz zwischen den technischen Möglichkeiten und menschlichen Kommunikationen repräsentiert jedoch eine zunehmende Komplexität in Bezug auf globale Wirtschaftsprozesse. Globale Führungskräfte müssen sich neuen Situationen flexibel anpassen und situationsspezifisch entscheiden. In der Arbeit werden die Diskurse ´Kommunikation´, ´Kultur´ und ´Internationalität´ in Bezug auf die Frage nach der Konstruktion eines globalen Führungsindividuums erstmals interdisziplinär zusammengeführt. Auf der Basis kultureller Kommunikation sowie einer semiotisch-handlungstheoretischen Erweiterung wird ein Führungsmodell des 21. Jahrhunderts entworfen: Das Modell der ´kommunirarchischen Führung´.
N2  - The dissertation deals with the phenomenon of the ´global leader´, being represented as an acting individual within a globalised economic context at the beginning of the 21st century. Next to monetary evidences it is primarily situational and personal variables of leadership which lead to business success. Based on a growing discrepancy between the unity of place and the unity of time global leaders are challenged to act both cultural and communicative. The discrepancy between technical opportunities and human communications however represents an increasing complexity concerning global economic processes. Global leaders need to adjust to new situations in a very flexible way and they need to decide quickly according to a present or immediate situation. Interdisciplinary the dissertation brings together the three discourses ´communication´, ´culture´ and ´internationality´ looking for a construct of a global leading individual for the first time. Based as well on the model of cultural communication as on an semiotic and action-theoretical approach a leadership-model of the 21st century is designed: the model of ´communierarchical leadership´.
